Board of Directors ignore Petition

On January 13, 2004, Marina Hills Homeowners presented to the Board a petition, signed by more than 5% of the homeowners, to initiate a change for Term Limits for Directors of the Board.

The Directors of the Baord have the duty, according to the CC&RS, to call a Special Meeting so all homeowners can vote democratically on such an amendment.

The CC&R require that the Directors call this Special Meeting within 20 days of receipt of the petition. The 20 days were up on February 2, 2004. No Meeting was called by the Board.

The following is a letter to the Baord via the association Lawyer Richard Tinnelly to urge the calling of the Special Meeting. This letter was sent to the Lawyer on February 3, 2004.
